Back To Reality

After almost two months of travelling, I was getting pretty excited to go home and relax until I actually got here and realized that I had responsibilities to take care of. Everything I left behind was still here waiting for me; it didn’t magically disappear while I was running around Europe. First things first, find a job…. in three weeks. Finding a job is hard enough but this year I have extra pressure to find my dream job. The internship that will set off my career. I have a general idea of what I want to do in the future but my biggest problem is that I’m not qualified for the jobs that I want. While I do have experience in the web design field, I’m not studying in design so I don’t really have as much experience, education and portfolio content as the other applicants. Solution? Obviously, get experience, educate myself and make content. So I’m going sit down and churn out a new portfolio layout, some content and work on some of my other hobbies. So much to do so little time. What happened to relaxing at home?
