Flying Solo

There’s so much that happened I don’t know where to start. I’m not even going to try to be eloquent.

Let’s see if I can get through this post without scratching myself. I got a terrible allergic reaction that looks like a flesh eating disease so I’m going to hide out until it passes. Never buy target brand sunscreen. Never!

I just finished the first week of my study abroad program, four more to go, and I’m not homesick at all. The weather in Montpellier is always nice and the sun never seems to set. It’s amazing.

It’s weird how much I miss my guitar and uke while I’m here, maybe I just forgot how much I suck at it.

Flying is stressful. I showed up maybe four hours early to my first flight so I started reading “The Great Gatsby” which I haven’t opened up since then. I had a seven hour layover in Boston where I left the airport to explore Fanueil Hall. I had some delicious Clam Chowda in a bread bowl.

I slept through a lot of my flights and was literally the last person boarding my flight from Paris to Montpellier. Charles de Gaulle might just be the most inefficient airport I’ve been in. So much to say so little time. I’ll elaborate later but for now, Boston pictures after the jump.
